Christmas is drawing near…
Friends, I want to wish a sincerely blessed Thanksgiving Holiday to you and yours. We have SO much to be thankful for! I want to ask you now, as Christmas draws near, to be in prayer for those less fortunate than we and especially the children of those families. I know at this time of year we get all kinds of petitions for contributions for everyone and everything around the world, but right here in our own community we miss so much. Recently, I was ministering in an inner-city Christian coffee house in Philadelphia and was introduced to an outreach group to the community there and became aware of the great amount of young people in need of Jesus and fellowship with other Christians. The Lighthouse Christian Center there is putting on an annual Christmas program to give gifts to the young people and spread the Gospel to all who come. They said last year was an amazing time of teaching about Jesus and salvation and have seen many lives changed through this outreach. TMTY would like to help them this year with gift donations for young people ages 8 yrs and up to teens. As you know, we were blessed with a trailer donation this year and would love to use it for the Kingdom in this way. You can help us by donating new gifts such as games, jewelry, make-up, ports items, watches, hats, gloves, scarves, toiletries, slippers, lotion, perfume etc. Please do not wrap! We can arrange for pick-up(locally of course!)or they can be dropped off here and we need them by Fri morning 11AM Dec. 11th so I can deliver them to the mission. Its not much time but whatever you can do will bless them and God will certainly honor it! Bless you cheerful givers! Ray
